The design of bridges and structures is among BBO’s core business activities. Its modest but talented structural design team has successfully designed a diverse range of technically challenging projects throughout New Zealand and Asia, including the Tauranga Harbour Crossing, the IRD Basement in Singapore and the Second Crossing between Malaysia and Singapore.
We have provided detailed design review services for the Ormiston Rd Bridge in Manukau, all of the structures on the Tauranga Harbour Link project and all of the structures on the SH20 Manukau Extension project.
BBO has been engaged by Transit New Zealand since 1997 to manage the state highway bridge stock in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Wanganui and Manawatu regions, some 1,300 bridges.
